Ask the cashier for a printed claim code and pay the available amount you want to add to your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance. Claim codes are available in fixed or variable amounts depending on location. The cashier will provide you a printed receipt with a 15-character claim code which you will need to redeem at amazon.co.uk/redeem. Once redeemed, your funds are immediately available for use.

5. Are there limits to how much I can add to my Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance with an Amazon Top Up in Store transaction? Yes, you can add an amount between £5 and £250 in a single Amazon Top Up in Store transaction. Daily limits also apply and may vary by retailer.
6. Can I make an Amazon Top Up in Store transaction using a debit or credit card? Yes, making an Amazon Top Up in Store transaction using your debit or credit card works the same way as using cash. At a participating store, specify the amount you want to add to your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance, and pay that amount using your credit or debit card.
7. When can I use the funds I've added using Amazon Top Up in Store? How will I know when they are ready to use? When you use the claim code, you will need to redeem your 15-character code printed on your receipt at amazon.co.uk/gc/redeem before it can be used. At any time, you can also view your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance activity under Your Account.
8. Can I use the funds on any Amazon Website? Your Amazon Top Up in Store transaction will be added to your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance on your local Amazon website. You can add cash in your local currency wherever there are Amazon Top Up in Store participating stores, and shop using that currency on your local Amazon website. For example, US customers can only add cash in US stores, using US dollars, and shopping on Amazon.com. Customers in Mexico can only add cash in Mexico stores, using Mexican pesos, and shopping on Amazon.com.mx.
9. What is the difference between topping up my Amazon.co.uk account and topping up my Gift Card Balance? Nothing. These are two different names for the same stored value balance you have available for use on Amazon.co.uk.
10. Where can I view my Amazon Top Up in Store transaction history?
Desktop: Go to Your Account, then click on “Gift Cards- View balance or redeem a card”.
Mobile phone or Tablet: In the Amazon App, go to Your Account, then click on “Manage Gift Card Balance”.
11. Who should I contact if my Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance is incorrect or if the funds I added have not appeared in my Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance? Once payment occurs in store, make sure you receive a receipt for the Amazon Top Up in Store transaction from the cashier. If your Amazon Top Up in Store transaction is not listed on the receipt, please work with the store’s customer service to troubleshoot. If you have a receipt confirming the transaction, but funds have not been loaded into your account within 15 minutes of payment, please check your balance activity on Amazon.co.uk. If you are still not seeing your Amazon Top Up in Store transaction listed, please keep your receipt safe for record-keeping and contact Amazon Customer Service.
